This property situated directly on the banks of the Mississippi River received its first improvements since the 80s. There was no surface in this house that wasn’t touched as we fulfilled a vision for a vacation home that promotes rest, relaxation, and spending time enjoying the warm midwest summers.

Both interior and exterior stairs were reconfigured for ease of use and better accessibility to the lower living level. Additionally, a ramp was added at street level for aging-in-place consideration.

The covered deck features low maintenance materials, custom lighting, and mechanized roller shades that allow for panoramic views of the river but not invasion of summer insects!

The lower level of the home now serves as primary suite for the homeowners including a bedroom, attached bathroom and laundry, as well as a sitting area that opens to a patio.
